We audit the installation against the electrical safety codes and standards applicable to the facility — national wiring rules, IEC or IEEE equipment standards, local statutory requirements — checking actual installed condition rather than relying on as-built drawings that may no longer reflect what's on site. Findings reference the specific code clause the installation falls short of.
Walkdown
A systematic physical walkdown covers every panel, switchroom and outdoor equipment area on site, following a structured checklist so no area is skipped and findings are captured consistently regardless of which engineer conducts the audit. Walkdowns are scheduled to minimise disruption to live operations while still getting genuine access to the equipment being assessed.
Findings
Findings from the audit are compiled into a prioritised list ranked by safety risk, so the client can address the most serious issues first rather than working through an unordered list of everything observed. Each finding states the specific location, the deficiency and the risk it creates, not just a general observation.
Report
The audit report documents every finding with supporting photographs and a clear recommendation for closure, structured so the client's maintenance or engineering team can act on it directly without needing further clarification.
