Handover & close-out
What it covers

Scope in detail

Handover

Handover

We manage a structured handover process from construction to operations, working through an agreed checklist so nothing falls through the gap between the contractor demobilising and the operations team taking responsibility for the asset.

Documentation

Documentation

As-built drawings and O&M manuals are checked for completeness and accuracy against the actual installed condition before handover is accepted, since documentation gaps discovered after the contractor has left site are far more expensive and difficult to close.

Punch list

Punch list

Outstanding defects and incomplete items are tracked on a punch list through to close-out, with each item verified as genuinely resolved — not just marked complete by the contractor — before it's removed from the list.

Acceptance

Acceptance

Final acceptance is confirmed once performance tests are passed and the documentation and punch-list requirements are met, giving the owner a clear, verified point at which responsibility and risk for the asset formally transfers.
